My Love for Aruba...

After a wonderful time in Chicago, Dr. Man and I planned a little vacation to Aruba.  We wanted to spend some time together before his fellowship.  We settled on the "low-rise" section of Aruba and we were not disappointed.  Our resort, Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa, was a perfect fit for us!

The view from our 2nd floor, ocean-view room was absolutely stunning...

We changed into some loose-fitting clothes and decided to walk along the beach...

The water was so perfect and the sand was so silky.  After our walk we had some drinks and burgers at Pega-Pega Cafe Beach Bar...

After stuffing our faces lol, we took a walk to the nearby shops, Alhambra Casino & Shops...

After our short walk, we returned to our comfortable room to watch the sunset from our balcony...

Later that evening, we decided to have a bite to eat at one of the places we passed during our walk, Fusion Wine & Piano Bar.  I loved the vibe of this restaurant, and patrons can make their selections by looking at their large chalkboard menu.  Of course, I love my "bubbles," and I ordered a glass (or two) of their prosecco.  We also ordered their salmon bruschetta, spring rolls (with an amazing mango salsa), and chicken and chorizo quesadillas...

And of course, if it's on the menu, I will most likely order this dessert...crème brûlée...

Stay tuned to more adventures in Aruba...
