Creamy Blue Cheese & Spinach Pasta

Like I stated in my last post, I only had 30 minutes to prepare dinner before Dr. Man returned home.  I put my books away and organized my ingredients in the kitchen.  Here are my following ingredients:  spinach, garlic, blue cheese crumbles, and angel hair pasta...

With inspiration from one of Dr. Man's favorite meals, I quickly grabbed some bacon and roughly chopped it...

When the bacon turned a crispy, golden brown, I removed them from the pan.  With the residual bacon fat in the pan, I added the spinach and minced garlic, along with a pinch of salt and pepper. When the spinach wilted, I lowered the heat, and added some heavy cream...

I added a few of the blue cheese crumbles.  Due to the rich flavor of the blue cheese, I added a few more crumbles, carefully tasting.  I combined the bacon crumbles to give the sauce a salty flavor, as well as the pasta, cooked al dente...

A closer look at this quick and easy meal...

Dr. Man isn't a big fan of the flavor of blue cheese, but he enjoyed the dinner I prepared.  I was careful not to add too much of the blue cheese crumbles in order to not overpower the whole dish. Dinner in 30 minutes or less...enjoy!
