Seafood Galore Boil

I wanted to do something different for the 4th of July than the usual hamburgers, hot dogs, etc.  Even though I have never prepared a seafood boil, I was inspired after a trip to my favorite supermarket, Wegmans.  After seeing their vast selection of seafood, I purchased a generous amount...

Mussels...

Snow crab legs...

Littleneck clams...

Lobster tails...

Tiger shrimp...

Of course, I could not forget the accompaniments for a successful seafood boil...

Red potatoes...

Andouille sausage...

Corn...

In a large pot, I added vermouth, chicken stock, onions, garlic cloves, salt and pepper, Old Bay seasoning, as well as a few bay leaves, and let it all simmer.  Once the broth was perfect, I added the sausage and potatoes.  After approximately 10 minutes, I added corn to the pot, followed by all the seafood in a sequence.  The aroma emanating throughout the kitchen was just so intoxicating.  The broth was drained and the contents of the seafood boil was placed into a large serving dish.  I topped everything off with a sprinkle of Old Bay seasoning!  Open your favorite white wine or champagne and then grab a bib lol!
