Fried Mozzarella Cheese Sticks

Image
Like I stated in my last post, this "simple snack" is easy to prepare. While the prep time is a bit longer than the actual cook time, it is worth it!  Here are my following ingredients:  panko bread crumbs and mozzarella cheese sticks...

I lined the cheese sticks on a cutting board...

With a sharp knife, I cut each stick in half...

I set up my "dunking station," which consists of flour, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs...

Party Food

I have been M.I.A since the birth of our first child and starting residency.  I have not stopped cooking and have many recipes to share!  We are quickly approaching our little girl's first birthday.  In addition to cooking, I love party planning for family and friends.  While planning her first birthday party and the holiday weekend approaching, I am reflecting on simple snacks that I have prepared for family get-togethers, super bowl parties, or cocktail parties for family and friends...

One of those "snacks" has a longer prep time than cook time, but it is oh-so easy and my go-to appetizer during these times.  All you need are the following ingredients:  your favorite cheese sticks, panko breadcrumbs, and eggs (not pictured)...

Stay tuned for the preparation of this easy snack...
